skwarepeg invited me to retake the Belief-O-Matic test.
I told her that I and everyone I knew inevitably came out as Buddhist. PROVE ME WRONG!
“Even if YOU don’t know what faith you are, Belief-O-Matic™ knows. Answer 20 questions about your concept of God, the afterlife, human nature, and more, and Belief-O-Matic™ will tell you what religion (if any) you practice…or ought to consider practicing.”
My results:

2. Hinduism (99%)
3. Neo-Pagan (91%)
4. Unitarian Universalism (89%)

But...but...these doesn't adds up to 100%? And how can you be equally Mormon and Catholic, you Buddhist freak?! ;o)
You didn't say what your take was on the questions this time.... Still interested.
I was surprised that Scientology rated higher than Christian, oh well... I suppose the percentages mean percent of questions that match a particular religion. I still say I would love to see what thier grade curve is.
As to the questions, well, I am not sure what world religion uses abortion or gay marriage as a criteria for faith. There seemes to be a fair number of questions that had political rather than spiritual... agendas? Like- "How important are social welfare programs." Also, does "Muslim" ever make an appearance,or is it just kinda swept under the rug?
Oh, wait,I found Islam...34%
I know... those questions bothered me too (abortion, etc.) because I don't think they're relevant to spirituality. Though I suppose if your positical views are based in your religious views, it would matter. *shrug*
If I weren't so lazy, it would be fun to find out the results on a more random sample kind of basis -- neighbors, relatives (especially the Tennessee ones), co-workers, etc.
Sorry to bust your theory (but I guess since we have not actually met, you could argue that you are still right) but here are my results.

On the topic of some of the "political" questions, I answered many as not being applicable. We were supposed to be answering if we thought they were necessary for personal savaltion. I would have answered "maybe" if possible, but that wasn't a choice. Being opposed to abortion MIGHT be necessary for someone's salvation. Not mine, but it might be necessary for theirs.
Sorry, old friend. 86%. I found Roy's very interesting too. Our top 5 are pretty close!

Okay, okay, I fell for it (in a profound spiral of procrastination today). And apparently? I have SO recovered from years of Zen practice that I'm now....like, a Quaker. Ha ha ha! This is bonkers.

NB by the way that your position on same-sex marriage/abortion/etc. is CRUCIAL for you to belong to what they're calling "Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant." It seems political to you precisely because you don't practice/adhere to those particular religious beliefs. Strange; and yet the case.
